MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

Mentorship is the duty of all and not the Lodge Education Officer.  He may be the one running the program in behalf of the Master of the Lodge.  It is the duty of each Master Mason and especially those who have been appointed to become a coach to be well prepared to instruct others regarding the craft, and it is the Master of the Lodge who is responsible to ensure its Lodge has an instructional program.

The Entered Apprentice, not only will learn about the craft, but also his motivation and desire to attend meetings will continue and maintain that "spirit" that first made him approach our Fraternity.  Lastly he will be a representation of your Lodge and your Grand Lodge as well.

The following article is as example of a structure Mentorship Program. - A Mentor Program

A great mentor will aid the candidate on his Ritual Delivery.  Here are some articles that can help in this area.

For those who are instructors, here is a manual titled Instructor's Manual

Here is a structure program that one can follow to train future Lodge Education Officer, trainers, coaches or the Brethren as well so that we all may be better prepared to impart our knowledge known as Coach the Coaches.

Lastly a set of quizzes to gauge how your trainee is doing or other brothers to test their knowledge.

If any brother has more materials, samples of other mentorship programs or articles, please email me so that others may benefit.
